Overview
Disco Affections was a project born out of the prompt “damn I wish I made that” where my partner and I worked together to pay homage to pop music. We were specifically inspired by the resurgence of disco in modern pop music such as Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia. In this project, we produced, edited, and starred in our own fabricated album. We did a photoshoot, edited the photos, created CD packaging, a photo book, multiple album posters, and song visualizers complete with our own music.
As a result, we achieved the highest grade for the project; our instructor told us in his feedback that he broke his “nothing over 90%” rule for us.
